I think the thing I love so much about macro photography is the chance to see worlds no one takes the time to look at. Like the above photo - how often do you look inside rose leaves?
I use the macro on my camera for my jewelry but have never heard of a "macro camera," however, if I could get a camera that took photos like this, I'd be sold! I imagine it has a lot more to do with the artist ;) BEAUTIFUL picture!
All I use is a regular little Cannon PowerShot on the macro setting. It's a simple, pocket sized camera with no frills.... and a lot of wear and tear!
I'm glad you enjoyed my art. It's hard to know sometimes if anyone is really paying attention to what I am doing! Please be sure to stop by my artfire studio if you haven't already and look at the rest. If you don't see something you are looking for, let me know, and I am happy to go through my archives to try and find it!!
